When Love Hurts More Than It Heals ๐ŸŒฟ

When Love Hurts More Than It Heals ๐ŸŒฟ

Love can be beautiful—but sometimes, it hurts more than it heals.

When we fall for someone who isn’t ready to love us fully, we give our hearts, our trust, and our time to a space that can’t return it. It’s like pouring water into a cracked cup—it looks full for a moment, but it never truly holds.

Loving someone who isn’t ready teaches us patience, empathy, and courage. But it also teaches boundaries. Love alone cannot fill someone else’s emptiness. No matter how much we give, we can’t complete them, and holding on too long only leaves us exhausted.

Reflection:

Is your love being mirrored, or are you pouring into an empty cup?

Are you holding on to someone for who you hope they could be, rather than who they really are?

The truth is harsh but freeing: love deserves reciprocity. Intimacy deserves safety. And your heart deserves someone willing to meet you at the same depth you offer.

๐Ÿ’– You are worthy of love that doesn’t hurt so much to give.

With love,

Chi ❤
